Morocco’s Undivided Map Provokes Algerian National Football Team to Boycott Arab Cup

The Algerian national football team announced that they will not take part in the FIFA Arab Football Cup tournaments which will take part in Qatar in December 2021.

Such an unprecedented move is said to stem from the adoption of the full and undivided Map of Morocco during the tournament displaying the southern provinces of Morocco.

The African teams taking part in the tournament besides Algeria are Morocco, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Somalia, Sudan, and Tunisia.
