The Ministry of Higher Education invites universities to adopt the “distance learning” education formula

In a communiqué issued on December 23 this month, the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation urged all university presidents to adopt the distance education formula until further notice, in order to exercise caution, particularly in light of Morocco’s high incidence of confirmed cases of the new “Omicron” mutant.

The Ministry of Education asked all university presidents to instruct all university actors, including students, research professors, administrative, educational, and technical frameworks, to organize distance examinations, as well as scientific and cultural meetings, meetings, seminars, and events, in a communiqué published by 24 Hours Online.

The Ministry wants to adhere to all preventive steps to combat the epidemic threat, a preventive measure to safeguard the health and safety of actors in the higher education system, through the resolution.
