Sources claim that the former French ambassador would go to Brussels to serve as director of the European External Action Service’s North Africa and Middle East division (EEAS). The Minister Counselor of the Embassy, Arnaud Pescheux, will serve as Chargé d’Affaires until the nomination of his replacement.
