Rabat: The First edition of the national reading project

This Monday in Rabat, the inaugural edition of the National Reading program received its formal launch from Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, Minister of National Education, Preschool, and Sports, who was joined by Ms. Najla Seif Al Shamsi, President of the Scientific Research Foundation.

In accordance with a statement from the Ministry, all students and teachers in educational institutions of all cycles and levels, as well as students at universities and other institutions of higher learning, are the target audience for this reading project, which was organized in Arabic and Amazigh by the Ministry in partnership and cooperation with the Scientific Research Foundation.

According to the same source, the project aims to strengthen the role of civil institutions in promoting reading, patriotism, and a sense of belonging by supporting national and human values. It also proposes to improve the effectiveness of these institutions so that they can play their societal role in supporting reading in all of its forms and contribute to the advancement of education.
