Qatar 2022: Morocco guaranteed to receive 25 million dollars

The Atlas Lions are guaranteed a minimum of $25 million if they finish fourth after reaching the World Cup semi-finals for the first time in their history. They will receive $27 million if they finish third. If they win the tournament, they will receive $42 million.

The FRMF’s finances will be supplemented with a check for at least $25 million if the Atlas Lions finish fourth in the World Cup. This amount will be increased depending on the ranking of the players of Walid Regragui. Indeed, their bonus will increase to 27 million dollars if they finish third and 30 million if they finish second. In case of final victory, they will receive a jackpot of 42 million dollars.

Besides that, FIFA will distribute a total of $440 million to the 32 teams competing in the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar. FIFA stated that the funding for teams eliminated in the round of 16 will be slightly higher, 13 million dollars. Those who fail in the quarterfinals, at the gates of the final four, will receive 17 million dollars.
