Al Amine Nejjar: The New head of Al Barid Bank’s management board

At a meeting of the supervisory board of the public bank, a subsidiary of the Barid Al Maghrib group, held on November 30, 2022, Al-Amine Nejjar was chosen to be the head of the Al Barid Bank board. Prior to being appointed, he served as Ryad Mezzour’s advisor in the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The new Al Barid Bank Leader has previously held a number of senior leadership roles within Moroccan banking organizations. Notable positions he has held include Chairman of the Board of Wafa Immobilier, a subsidiary of the Attijariwafa bank group, and Deputy General Manager of CIH in charge of retail banking and real estate.

Al-Amine Nejjar graduated from the University of Paris Dauphine with a post-graduate degree (DESUP) in business management in developing nations. The 55-year-old native of Salé is also vice-president of the Alliance of Istiqlali Economists.
