Joint Plenary Session of Parliament’s Two Houses on European Parliament’s Latest Positions Towards Morocco Kicks Off

On Monday afternoon, the two Houses of Parliament convened a joint plenary session to discuss the most recent views of the European Parliament toward Morocco.

This plenary session, which will be presided over by the Speakers of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi El Alami, and the House of Councillors, Enaam Mayara, will be marked by speeches from various political, professional, and trade union bodies represented in both Houses of Parliament to express their positions on the most recent resolution of the European Parliament, which has sparked a significant upsurge in outrage among the various bodies and national organizations.

The false accusations in the European Parliament resolution were strongly denounced by the Superior Council of the Judicial Authority (CSPJ) in a statement on Saturday.

Several political and institutional groups have also voiced their opposition to the resolution’s substance and rejection of any meddling with or effort to sway the judgments of the judiciary. These organizations have also emphasized Morocco’s improvement of the judicial system.
