Aeronautics: The Hutchinson group inaugurates the extension of its site in Bouskoura

The Hutchinson group, which specialized in the manufacture of composite aeronautical parts and cabin insulation solutions, inaugurated on March 15, 2023, the extension of its production site in Bouskoura. Covering an area of 18,700 m², the project has mobilized a budget of 166 million dirhams.

The extension of the Hutchinson group’s site in Bouskoura will create more than 400 jobs. Through this unit, qualified to the highest standards for the production of highly critical composite structural parts, the group aims to diversify its local capacities and thus integrate the dynamics of the Boeing ecosystem.

With an investment of 166 million dirhams, this initiative will support the growth of local aeronautical activities and consolidate the Group’s production capacities for Boeing and Airbus programs from 2023.

Present at the inauguration, the Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, stressed that “our industry continues to attract and retain world leaders in the aeronautics sector. The group’s decision to establish itself permanently in Morocco and its ambition to diversify its activities accompanies the dynamics of the Moroccan aeronautical sector and illustrates once again the place occupied by the Kingdom in the chessboard of major aeronautical contractors. He added that “the quality of human capital is undeniably one of the key factors of the success of this sector in Morocco. We will continue to support the reinforcement of these assets to align ourselves with the global trends of the aeronautical sector.
