Markets will be fully supplied during Ramadan (Mohamed Sadiki)

The markets will be supplied in abundance, and the production sectors will function normally to cover all consumer demands during Ramadan,” Mohamed Sadiki, Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fishing and Water and Forests, declared to the press.

The minister was speaking on the sidelines of a meeting organized Sunday in Ouarzazate by the National Rally of Independents (RNI) under the chairmanship of Aziz Akhannouch.

According to the minister, the prices of basic food products such as vegetables “will be stable and could even drop as long as the national markets are well supplied”.

The government official noted that there is price stability in parallel with the recording of some slight fluctuations, estimating that the supply of the market with sufficient quantities of consumable products will inevitably have an impact on the prices of food materials and products, particularly those most consumed during the month of Ramadan.
