Taiwan detects 11 Chinese warships and 70 aircraft around the island: defense ministry

On Sunday, Taiwan reported seeing 11 Chinese warships and 70 aircraft flying over the island as China continued its war games.

The ministry added that a mixture of fighter jets and bombers were among the airplanes it has seen up until 4 pm local time (0800 GMT) in response to the Chinese exercises.
