HM King Mohammed VI has given His Very High Instructions for sending emergency medical aid to Help Tunisia.

Three military planes, each carrying 13.5 tons of medical support, took off from Kenitra on Thursday morning, bound for Tunisia, as part of the urgent medical assistance ordered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to be sent to this Maghreb country, which is experiencing a deterioration in the epidemiological situation associated with COVID-19.

His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, kindly gave high-level instructions to send urgent medical assistance to Tunisia, following the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in this fraternal Moroccan country as a result of a sharp rise in infections and deaths associated with the COVID-19 virus.

This medical assistance consists of two full and independent reanimation units, with an accommodation capacity of 100 beds. It also includes 100 ventilators and two oxygen generators with a capacity of 33 m3/h each.

In addition to the three military aircraft that have flown to Tunisia, in the coming days other military aircraft will travel to that fraternal country to continue to transport this medical assistance, which is part of the links of active solidarity between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Tunisia, as well as within the framework of the long-standing brotherhood that brings together the two fraternal peoples.
