Schools must Comply with Covid-19 Protocol
Ministries of National Education and Health call for Strict Compliance with Preventive Measures in Schools
Rabat – The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Health have called on pupils, students, interns and all educational and administrative executives working in schools, universities, and training institutes in the public and private sectors to ensure strict, regular and optimal compliance with the health measures and barrier gestures included in the health protocol.
In a joint statement, the two ministries called for the washing and disinfection of hands with soap or using a hydro-alcoholic gel, urging all educational and administrative executives, pupils, students and interns of all levels to wear the protective mask.
They also recommend the respect of physical distancing in classrooms, in various spaces of each institute as well as on entry and exit.
This appeal follows the latest developments in the epidemiological situation in several regions of the Kingdom, said the same source.
As part of the inspection visits carried out by the joint committees to monitor the institutes’ compliance with the preventive measures adopted, the two ministries affirmed that any institute that does not comply with the measures in question will be immediately closed with the aim of contributing to the national effort to stop the spread of the pandemic
