A report by the General Directorate of Water of the Ministry of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, stated that the filling rate of three dams located in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region reached 100% of their total capacity.

The report stated that the water reserve of Oued Al-Makhazine Dam in Larache, the region’s largest dam, reached 672.9 million cubic meters, equivalent to 100% of its total capacity, and the filling rate of each of the Chefchaouen and Nakhla dams in the Tetouan region also reached 100 %, with a water reserve of 12.2 Million cubic meters and 4.21 million cubic meters respectively.

The filling rate for Charif Al Idrissi Dam in Tetouan region is close to 99.8%, with a water reserve of 121.47 million cubic meters, and up to 98.5 % for Ibn Battuta Dam in Tangier-Asilah, equivalent to 28.7 million cubic meters.

Samir Dam in Mdiq-Fnideq reached a filling rate of 88.4%, with a water reserve of 34.4 million cubic meters, followed by Mohammed Ben Abdelkrim Al-Khattabi Dam in Al Hoceima with 75.5% (8.9 million cubic meters), then Moulay El Hassan Ben El Mahdi Dam in the province of Fahs-Anjra by 74.2% (17.4 million cubic meters), and Tangier Med Dam with a filling rate of 65%, bringing the water reserve to 14.3 million cubic meters.

As for Dar Khrofa Dam in the province of Larache, it reached 50.9 %, (244.5 million cubic meters), then April 9th Dam in Tangier-Assilah labor with 24.1% (72.4 million cubic meters), and finally the Jmoua Dam in Al Hoceima region with 14.8 %, equivalent to 0.8 million meters. cubic.
