Biden Nominates Pro-Morocco Wendy Sherman Deputy Secretary of State

Russia Today News Agency reported that President-elect Joe Biden has appointed Wendy Sherman as Deputy Secretary of State in his government.

Russia Today News Agency reported that President-elect Joe Biden has appointed Wendy Sherman as Deputy Secretary of State in his government. Sherman will become the second ranking official after the new Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

Wendy Sherman was the chief of US negotiators team on the Iran nuclear deal where she has made great efforts to complete that agreement in 2015.
Currently,she is a senior consultant in “Albright Stonebridge group”, Linda Thomas Greenfield, the new ambassador of the US to the United Nations has worked for that same group.

Sherman is a long experienced diplomat who served as undersecretary of state for political affairs during Obama presidency (2013 -2017).

She was also the official spokesperson for US State Department between 2011 and 2013 during the term of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Later, Sherman worked as Assistant Secretary of State for European and Asian Affairs.
