Guergarat… Japan Stresses the Importance of Free Movement of People and Goods

Rabat – Japan stressed the importance of guaranteeing free movement of people and goods in Guergarat crossing, and the commitment of the parties concerned to restrain and carry on with their efforts to reduce tensions.

The Embassy of Japan in Rabat indicated, in a verbal note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, that Japan “renews its desire for a fast and peaceful solution to this dispute on the basis of dialogue between the concerned parties.”

The same source added that Japan “extends its support to the efforts of the United Nations, including those made within the framework of the mission of MINURSO.”
