Hamas Leader: Our Visit To Morocco Comes Under Royal Patronage

Ismail Haniyeh, Head of Hamas Political Bureau confirmed that his delegation’s visit to Morocco comes under royal patronage, and “by embracing the authentic Moroccan people, whom we look at with all its components as the strategic depth of our cause and our al-Aqsa.”

Haniyeh added in a speech during his reception by Saad Dine El Otmani, Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party (PDJ), on Wednesday, June 16, at the residence of the Head of Government in Rabat, that a number of meetings will be held, expressing his hope that this visit will live up to Morocco’s expectations, with all its political bodies.

The Hamas leader added, “This visit comes in the context of the victory achieved by the resistance in a round of conflict with the hateful occupation,” stressing that “the delegation and the Palestinian forces have very big tasks before this victory, which will be discussed with the Head of Government, and all the bodies that the delegation will meet during this visit.

Regarding the victory achieved by the Palestinians over the occupation, Haniyeh said, “This steadfastness and great victory would not have been achieved without the care of Allah, then the unity of the Palestinian people, and with the emergence of Arab peoples in all countries chanting for Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds, and then with the movement of the free people of the world, which is huge and unprecedented, which stands with the Palestinian people who have been subjected to a historical grievance,” stressing that “the world can no longer tolerate the continuation of the occupation, its massacres, and its violations.”
