Moroccan-British Military Cooperation at Focus

Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, met his counterpart, James Heappey, Minister of British Armed Forces today, Thursday, November 5th, in Rabat.

The British minister is accompanied on his official visit to Morocco by both John Lorimer, Lieutenant General, and Simon Martin, the British ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco. The Minister of the British Armed Forces will meet with a number of military and government officials to discuss issues of common concern.

This visit is within the Moroccan-British military cooperation framework. Bond by mutual support and trainings, both countries work on the evolution of their mutual cooperation.

One of the training sessions British Military takes part in is the “Jebel Sahara” exercise which takes place annually in Marrakech.
