Nasser Bourita holds a talk to his Surinamese counterpart

Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, spoke with Albert Ramdin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, and International Cooperation of the Republic of Suriname, through videoconference.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the goal of this interview was to accelerate the implementation of the bilateral cooperation roadmap (2021-2024) signed last March, which covers several key sectors such as education, vocational training, agriculture, health, and tourism.

Ramdin and Bourita underlined their mutual objectives of cooperation during a recent visit to Morocco, particularly through the building of a Suriname embassy in Rabat and a general consulate in Dakhla.

As a result, the two parties intend to deepen their mutual dialogue in the near future.
