Organisation Of Islamic Cooperation To Hold FMs Emergency Meeting Next Sunday To Discuss Developments In Palestine

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold, this Sunday, May 16th, a virtual open-ended emergency meeting of its Executive Committee at the level of foreign ministers to discuss Israeli aggressions in Palestinian territories, especially in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

The OIC stated in a statement yesterday, Thursday, that the meeting, which comes at the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Chair of the Islamic summit, will discuss “Israeli aggressions in Palestinian territories, especially in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and the acts of violence carried out by Israel in the vicinity of al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The organization had held an emergency meeting last Tuesday at the level of permanent delegates, at the request of Palestine, to discuss the escalating Israeli attacks in the city of al-Quds.
