Palestinian Diplomat: Morocco Supports Palestinians In All Their Ordeals And Stands With Them

In a statement to MAP, the Ambassador of Palestine to the European Union and Belgium, Abdalrahim Saleh Ali Alfarra, said that the Kingdom’s decision to send humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, upon instructions from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, “is not strange to His Majesty the King, nor to the Moroccan government and people,” adding that “the Kingdom has always stood by the Palestinian people and supported them in all their ordeals.”

According to the Palestinian diplomat, the King, as Chairman of al-Quds Committee, “feels the weight of the burden and defends al-Quds with all his might,” in parallel with his tireless and serious efforts aimed at stopping the cycle of violence and saving the lives of children, women and the elderly.

Ali Alfarra added that “the brotherly Moroccan people always promised to stand by us, as they are the first to organize millions of demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people,” expressing his heartfelt thanks for all that Moroccans do to support their Palestinian brothers.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates stated that His Majesty King Mohammed VI gave instructions to send urgent humanitarian aid to the benefit of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

His Majesty’s decision comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s continuous support for the just Palestinian cause and its permanent solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people.
