Czech MP On Morocco-Spain Crisis: Madrid Is Doing Everything To Destabilise The Only Stable And Peaceful Country In The Region

A European parliamentarian from the Czech right, Tomáš Zdechovský, attacked Spain, accusing it of implicating the European Union in a bilateral case in which Madrid made mistakes.

The MP took to Twitter and said, “Madrid is doing everything to destabilise the only stable and peaceful country in the region”.

Zdechovský also explained how Sanchez’s government is pressuring the European Parliament “by pushing aggressively for adoption of a EP resolution against Morocco which only seek to hide its successive mistakes, involving EU in this dangerous path.”

In a related context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, had a meeting with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjártó, yesterday Wednesday in Rabat.

On this occasion, Bourita stated that Hungary has always adopted “clear” and “constructive” positions on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, aimed at preserving the territorial integrity of the Kingdom. The two Ministers also signed 10 bilateral cooperation agreements, and mutually recognized vaccination certificates issued by authorities of the two respective countries.
