Spanish Partido Popular Inquiring About Postponed Meetings With Morocco

The party expressed its surprise at the postponement of the meeting under the pretext of "Covid-19 precautions", while preparations are underway for high-level meetings between France and Morocco, or between Israel and Morocco.

The Spanish parliamentary group “People’s Party” questioned the government about bilateral relations between Spain and Morocco, noting that Morocco has postponed a number of meetings with Spanish officials, as the country is preparing for meetings with France and Israel.

According to Spanish media, the opposition party called on the country’s government to work on improving relations with Morocco, pointing out that no date has been set for high-level meetings between the two countries after Polisario leader Brahim Ghali was admitted into a hospital in Logroño.
