The Ministry of the Interior: The voter turnout is 12% and is heading to rise as polling day progresses

According to the Ministry of Interior, voter turnout in the parliamentary, regional, and communal elections reached 12 percent at the national level till 12 o’clock on Wednesday.

According to a statement to the ministry, “the voting process takes place under normal circumstances, as the participation rate at the national level reached 12 percent at 12 o’clock in the afternoon,” citing “information obtained from various workers, regions, and workers of the kingdom’s provinces.”

At twelve o’clock in the afternoon during the 2016 elections, 10 percent of eligible voters had cast ballots.
