Laftit added that the royal gendarmerie, in turn, recorded 77,000 cases during the same period, 61,000 cases of which were completed, referring to justice 36,000 people, including 1,721 minors.

Laftit stated, in addition, that social media is in different occasions a tool for “spreading a type of violence” because many of the published facts and events are “unreal in many times.”

The minister confirmed that the security forces are closely tracking and verifying everything published in social media and attaching them to reports explaining their rationales. He stressed that “security is established in Morocco,” thanks to the vigilance of the national security men, and called not to make a fuss about “isolated incidents.”
