HM King Mohammed VI Receives 1st Dose of Covid-19 Vaccine

Launching the national vaccination campaign in Fez, HM the King received the 1st dose of the vaccine against Covid-19

His Majesty King Mohammed VI proceeded Thursday at the Royal Palace in Fez, to launch the national vaccination campaign against the Covid-19 virus.

On this occasion, HM the King received the first dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

In accordance with the High Royal Instructions, the vaccination campaign will be free for all citizens, the objective being to immunize all components of the Moroccan people (30 million to vaccinate about 80 percent of the population), to reduce then eliminate cases of contamination and death due to the epidemic, and contain the spread of the virus, with a view to a gradual return to normal life.

This national campaign will take place progressively and in stages and will benefit all Moroccan citizens and residents aged 17 and over.
