On Saturday, First Doses of Corona Vaccine Arrive in Morocco, Vaccination Campaign to Start Next Week

The latest preparations for launching the national vaccination campaign in Morocco are under way.

The first dose of “AstraZeneca” will arrive to Morocco next Saturday,  January 16th according to credible sources. Vaccination campaign will begin the following week.

The vaccine will be flown from India. A plane will take off from Morocco on Friday and return on Saturday with first batches of AstraZeneca vaccine.

The regional distribution of doses will take place as soon as it reaches Morocco, and will continue until Sunday. The national vaccination campaign will be launched in Morocco early next week, Probably Monday or Tuesday. Health officials will be vaccinated first, including private sector workers within medical schools and university hospitals.
