Morocco’s Chosen Sinopharm Vaccine is Safe and Effective by 97%

The China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (SINOPHARM), which developed a vaccine against Covid-19, officially announced that the results of clinical trials, i.e. the third phase, showed that the vaccine is effective and safe by 97%.

It is noteworthy that the Sinopharm vaccine uses virus inactivation technology, which depends on injecting the body with the virus, then killing it using chemicals that also help produce antibodies against Covid-19.

Morocco has opted for the Chinese vaccine, and it is expected that a comprehensive national campaign will be launched to vaccinate nearly 20 million Moroccans. This follows a series of successful clinical trials which a number of Moroccan volunteers took part of.
