A Spanish expert calls for the opening of a humanitarian corridor to allow the return of abductees in Tindouf Camps.

Spanish political expert Pedro Ignacio Altamirano called for an urgent opening of a humanitarian corridor in order to allow all Sahrawis kidnapped in Tindouf camps in southern Algeria to return to their homes so that they can live in peace and prosperity like the rest of Moroccans.

Altamirano, who is the official spokesperson for the International Support Group for Saharan Reunification, noted that the group stresses the need for European and international civil society to engage directly in resolving the dispute over Sahara and recognizing Morocco’s sovereignty over it as an integral part of the country.

Pedro Ignacio Altamirano, who is known for his stances in defense of Moroccan Sahara, had received death threats on social networks launched by two Polisario members. As a result of these practices, Altamirano submitted a complaint through his lawyer to the investigating judge of the Spanish court of Malaga.
