FIFA adopts New Calendar for International Matches in the World Cup 2022 Qualifiers

As the qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup Qatar continue to accumulate due to the Covid 19 pandemic, FIFA confirmed that the international matches  take place upcoming January 2022. The International Federation of Football Associations said that the new dates for the matches were approved by the FIFA Council last Thursday, highlighting that the decision applies to all continents except Europe. The international matches, as a result, will be held from January 24 until February 2022, which means that European clubs will be forced to allow their players to participate in these matches.
