On Wednesday, British health authorities recommended people with “severe allergies” not to use coronavirus vaccine “Pfizer”.

The UK is the first country to authorize the vaccine. On Tuesday, it launched an extensive vaccination campaign which involves health care workers and elderlies.

“Two people with severe allergies showed bad reaction” after getting the vaccine, said Stephen Boyce, medical director of the National Health Service in Britain.

Accordingly, British Medicine Authority recommended not to vaccinate “everyone with a history of severe allergies to vaccines, medicines, and food.”

During the first phase, about 800.000 doses of the vaccine, out of 400M requested by the British government, will be distributed.
