The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) will organize a Giant Dictation and a program on the occasion of the International Day of the Arabic Language to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity.

A Council press release indicates that Awacer TV, the CMCA and the writer Rachid Santaki, in partnership with the French Institutes of Morocco, the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences of Rabat, and Yomade Publishers are organizing a Giant Dictation live on Friday, December 18^th at 6:30 p.m., on the theme “When languages ​​merge with Arabic to bring people together ” by Rachid Santaki, around an original text by the linguist Jean Pruvost, author of the book“ Our ancestors the Arabs, what our language owes them ”.

On the same occasion, a program will be broadcast at 8:00 p.m. on the Facebook pages of Awacer TV and its partners on the same day, adds the same source.

The organizers of this event and Rachid Santaki, record holder for the largest dictation in the world (Stade de France, Saint-Denis), wish to carry with this event a message of living and doing together, of cohabitation and dialogue demonstrating that languages, ​​but also countries, enrich each other culturally, raises the Press Release.

A series of talk shows for Moroccans abroad will mark the programming of Awacer TV under the CMCA between Thursday the 17^th and Monday the 21^st of December 2020, on the occasion of International Migrants Day, also commemorated on 18^th of December, indicated the CCME.

The programming will focus on the rights and interests of Moroccans abroad, mainly vulnerable people, on the contribution of the Moroccan community in the scientific, cultural, social and economic fields in both countries of residence and country of origin, on young people as well as on the main issues and challenges related to current events, concludes the press release.
