In the neighborhoods of Al-Wad, Al-Inbiaat, and Sheikh El-Mfeddel, passers-by measure the gap between the periodic instructions of the authorities and the daily behavior of citizens. Means of transport are overcrowded, starting with tramways and buses that transport travelers from separate destinations.

Up until now, the authorities are still looking for an effective formula to reduce the number of Covid infections accumulating day by day, especially in view of lack of medical opportunities and terror that the virus will hit the heart of the health system, which includes doctors and nurses struggling to control the pandemic.

Morocco reported, Tuesday, Nov 3th, 4,495 new COVID-19 cases, the biggest single-day increase so far.

Today’s cases take the infections’ number since March 2nd to 229,565.

The number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Morocco increased to 189,909 after reporting 2,808 new cases.

With 74 new fatalities during the last 24 hours, the death toll rose to 3,900. In addition, the number of covid-19 patients in intensive care units reached 869.

Casablanca – Settat remains the worst-hit region in the country with 2,109 new cases and 21 more deaths in the last 24 hours.

Morocco reported, on Saturday, 3,790 new COVID-19 cases, taking the infections’ number to 219,084.

The number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Morocco increased to 181,275 after reporting 3,350 new cases.

With 70 new fatalities during the last 24 hours, the death toll rose to 3,695. In addition, the number of covid-19 patients in intensive care units reached 814.

Aziz Rebbah, Morocco’s minister of energy, confirmed yesterday that he has tested positive for covid 19.

Aziz Rebbah wrote on his Facebook wall: ”For those who ask about my health, it was confirmed that I got infected with the Coronavirus. Praise be to God, and I ask you to pray for me and all Covid-19 patients, and may God protect our country and our people from all evil.”

Today, the minister’s wife was also confirmed Covid-19 positive, raising the possibility that Rabah had contracted the infection from his wife.

An informed source told MOROCCO TELEGRAM that the possibility of transmitting the infection to the rest of the government’s members is not forthcoming, given that the meetings are held remotely, including the weekly government’s councils.
