Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Serbia, H.E. Mohammed Amine Belhaj.

According to an article published by the Ministry of defense republic of Serbia, Minister Stefanović expressed gratitude to Morocco for its unwavering support for Serbia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and refusal to recognize the so-called Kosovo.

During the meeting, Minister Stefanović expressed Serbia’s readiness to develop cooperation in the fields of military industry, military education, and military medicine based on the signed Agreement on Defense Cooperation and invited the Moroccan side to take part in the “Partner” Weapons and Military Equipment Fair, which will be held in early October.

Morocco, according to Ambassador Belhaj, is interested in establishing and improving cooperation in areas of mutual interest in order for it to reach a strategic level in the foreseeable future.
