Organisation Of Islamic Cooperation Commends The Efforts Of HM The King To Protect The Holy Sites Of Al-Quds Al-Sharif

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), commended yesterday, Tuesday, the role played by the al-Quds Committee, headed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to protect the holy sites of al-Quds al-Sharif.

The final statement issued following the video emergency meeting of Permanent Representatives Committee of OIC Member States stated that the committee “appreciates the role played by the presidency of al-Quds Committee for the Protection of Holy Sites in Al-Quds Al-Sharif and stands against the measures taken by the Israeli occupation authorities with the aim of judaizing the Holy City.”

The meeting was devoted to discussing the aggressions carried out by Israel in Palestinian territories, especially in the Holy City of al-Quds.

The meeting condemned “in the strongest terms the repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and throughout the land of the occupied State of Palestine, specifically the attacks that have escalated since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, targeting the citizens of al-Quds and preventing worshipers from reaching the holy place and performing their religious rituals, leading to the barbaric incursion of the Israeli occupation forces into the courtyards of al-Aqsa Mosque and attacking Palestinian worshipers.”
