Spain asks for Morocco’s Help to spot a Missing Ship

A Spanish sea search and rescue agency, said on Sunday that they have sent a cooperation request to Morocco in order to spot a ship that was lost in the Mediterranean last Friday.

 

According to EFE, Salvamento Marítimo has been looking for this ship since Sunday after it had gone off radar on Friday and its track was lost 22 nautical miles south of the municipality of Adra, in Almeria.

 

The agency contacted Morocco so that a search could also be carried out in Moroccan ports and marinas.

 

A spokeswoman of Salvamento Marítimo told EFE that search operations are carried to try to find the missing ship.
