The Supreme Court in Auckland, New Zealand, caused another defeat to the leaders of the Polisario, by rejecting a lawsuit filed by the separatist front, at the behest of the Algerian military regime, against a New Zealand investment fund, with the aim of blocking Morocco’s exports of phosphates to New Zealand.

This legal defeat came to add to the many humiliating international defeats that the separatists suffered, despite the financial, legal and media support provided by the Embassy of Algeria in New Zealand.

The lawsuit was filed by the so-called representative of the Polisario separatists in Australia and New Zealand, Mohamed Kamal Fadel, last year against the New Zealand investment fund which contributes to New Zealand companies that import phosphates from southern Moroccan provinces.

The separatists resorted to filing lawsuits in many countries that import Moroccan phosphate, but returned empty handed.

It is noteworthy that New Zealand companies “Ballance Agri-Nutrients Limited” and “Ravensdown Limited” are the ones concerned with the separatists’ claim, because they refused to submit to Algeria’s pressure, and Polisario’s threats, and continued to import Moroccan phosphates in accordance with international laws and legislations.

According to the front’s news agency, the so-called “President” of the “Phantom Republic,” Ibrahim Ghali, “issued a presidential decree announcing the end of the ceasefire agreement signed between the Polisario Front and the Kingdom of Morocco in 1991.”

As stated by the same source, the decree has been entrusted to the so-called “Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army Staff Command” to take all measures and procedures related to implementing the requirements of this “decree” within its jurisdiction.

This decision comes after the Polisario’s defeat against the military operation which the Royal Armed Forces carried out on Friday to liberate the region of Guergarat.
