Two Dead and Several Hurt in a Knife Attack in Nice the French City.
“I want to punish Paty for showing pupils caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad in a civics lesson.” Said the attacker.
While France is still reeling from the beheading of French middle school teacher Samuel Paty, another attack took place this Thursday near the city’s Notre Dame church which resulted in the death of at least two people and the injury of others.
The attacker used a knife to carry out his attack which was described by the city mayor as an act of “terrorism”. The attacker had been sent to hospital according to some French media.
The lower House of Parliament was holding a debate on new coronavirus restrictions which are planned to take effect on Friday; however, a moment of silence was held for the victims of the attack.
