Morocco’s Ambassador to Australia Presents Credentials to the Commonwealth of Australia’s Governor-General

Wassane Zailachi, Morocco’s ambassador to Australia, presented her credentials to Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Mr. David Hurley, on Wednesday.

The Governor General of Australia, Mr. David Hurley, conveyed his friendly greetings to HM King Mohammed VI during this audience held at the official residence of the Governor General of Australia in Canberra. He expressed his desire to see relations between Morocco and Australia develop further.

The Governor General and the Moroccan diplomat held a productive discussion about shared values of democracy, openness, multiculturalism, and political and economic liberalism between the two countries, while praising the strength of bilateral relations and rising exchanges between the two countries.

The topic of bilateral relations between Morocco and Australia was also discussed, as well as the good dynamic created by the inauguration of the Australian embassy in Rabat in 2017.

To meet upcoming difficulties and satisfy the objectives of the two peoples, the Moroccan diplomat emphasized the significance of further reinforcing political communication and finding new partnerships.

The ambassador took advantage of the opportunity to emphasize Morocco’s successes in the economic and social areas under His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s leadership, particularly the Kingdom’s approach to dealing with multifaceted crises through strategic projects.
