Colonel Assimi Goïta receives a royal message from Chakib Benmoussa in Mali.

 

Colonel Assimi Goïta, Head of State, and The President of the transition in Mali, received in audience, Friday in Bamako, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Mr. Chakib Benmoussa, carrying a message from King Mohammed VI.

Minister Chakib Benmoussa said he delivered the Malian, Head of State, Colonel Assimi Goïta a message of brotherhood and friendship addressed by the sovereign during the audience, which was held in the presence of the King’s ambassador in Bamako, Driss Isbayene, in a statement following the audience.

In this message, King Mohammed VI reassures the Malian authorities of his willingness to develop the historical and special relations between the two countries, said Chakib Benmoussa.

The minister added, that the royal message also covers the readiness of the Kingdom of Morocco to further strengthen cooperation with Mali in the cultural, economic, military and security fields to contribute to the stability of the region.
