HM the King congratulates Mr. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, on his re-election.

King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, on his re-election as President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

In this message, the Sovereign extended to the President of Equatorial Guinea his sincere congratulations and best wishes for success in his high positions at the service of the brotherly Equato-Guinean people, welcoming the renewed trust in his person to serve his people and realize their aspirations for greater progress and prosperity.

On this occasion, the King assured Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of his commitment to continue working with him to consolidate African brotherhood ties as well as the fruitful cooperation between the two countries and to strengthen it further, in order to embrace different areas, for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples, in contribution to the African continent’s development, stability, and unity.
