Hammouchi attends the Arab Police and Security Leaders Conference in the UAE

The Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, is taking part in the 46th session of the Congress of Arab Police and Security Officials, which started in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Monday.

Morocco is represented at the 46th Congress of Arab Police and Security Officials by an important delegation headed by Abdellatif Hammouchi, DG of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, which is attended by public security officials from Arab nations as well as representatives of regional and international bodies and organizations.

Besides discussing the outcomes of the meeting of the committee charged with reformulating the draft Arab strategy to combat human trafficking and organ trafficking, the meeting will also discuss the implementation of the 45th Congress of Arab Police and Security Officials’ recommendations, a number of urgent issues, including money laundering crimes.

The two-day congress will also discuss the recommendations from the conferences of the heads of the security sectors and the meetings of the committees held within the framework of the General Secretariat during the year 2022, as well as the results of the coordination meeting of the representatives of the concerned authorities in the Arab countries to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation among them in the field of combating terrorism and organized crime.

A report on the activities of the Arab Police Sports Federation for the year 2022 will be presented at the Congress, along with information about the date, location, and agenda of the 47th Congress of Arab Police and Security Officials and a number of noteworthy Arab security experiences.

The General Secretariat organizes the awareness-raising film competition each year as part of its efforts to raise awareness about the crime and highlight its dangers. The conference will discuss the main points of the draft Arab strategy to combat the crimes of trafficking in human beings and human organs, and it will also present the winning works.
