Estonia and Morocco set to promote cooperation in tourism sector

Fatim-Zahra Ammor, the minister of tourism, handicraft, and social and solidarity economy, and Raivo Tamm, the chairman of the Moroccan-Estonian Parliamentary Friendship Group, who is currently on a working visit to the Kingdom, met on Tuesday in Rabat to discuss ways to advance cooperation in the tourism sector between Morocco and Estonia.

Both parties stressed the importance of fostering these ties in order to advance the economic potential of both friendly nations, particularly in the tourism sector, while highlighting the positive nature of relations between Morocco and Estonia during this meeting.

Ammor stated that this meeting enables the discovery of fresh areas for collaboration in order to strengthen the partnership and bilateral ties in the tourism sector for the benefit of both peoples.

Tamm, for his part, expressed appreciation for the shared history and culture and reiterated that his nation was ready to expand its partnership with Morocco, a country that borders the European Union.

Additionally, he expressed an interest in enhancing the relationship with the Estonian Department of Tourism, noting that Estonian citizens prefer to travel to Morocco.
