HM the King Holds Talks with President Ondimba, Donates Fertilizers to Gabonese Farmers

Libreville – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, held talks on Wednesday at the Presidential Palace in Libreville with His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the Republic of Gabon.

The purpose of this meeting, which was also attended by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Yolande Nyonda, Minister Delegate at the Gabonese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Jean-Yves Teale, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic of Gabon, was to emphasize the significance of the deep, rich, and firmly established relations between Morocco and Gabon, as well as the strong ties of brotherhood and solid foundation.

His Majesty the King, may God Bless Him, and the President of Gabon discussed the state of their country’s bilateral relations in all areas during their meeting.

Then, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Gabon, His Majesty King Mohammed VI provided a donation of 2,000 tonnes of fertilizer.

Given the current situation, which is characterized by the global food crisis and challenges with the supply of fertilizer, this act of solidarity is part of the Kingdom of Morocco’s concern for Gabonese farmers.

As per His Majesty the King’s directives, this operation will be followed by a structural initiative designed to guarantee that farmers in this fraternal country have access to high-quality fertilizers that are reasonably priced and specially tailored to the needs of the soils and crops in the area.
