Israeli media: David Govrin will take over as head of the liaison office with Morocco

David Govrin, the head of the Israeli liaison office in Rabat, will reportedly soon return to work there, according to Israeli media.

Following the conclusion of the Public Service Commission’s investigation into the official’s alleged sexual harassment, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to send the ambassador to Morocco once more.

In a few months, the former Israeli ambassador to Egypt is reportedly planning to travel back to Morocco.

Govrin had been accused of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and allegedly making erroneous decisions while working in the liaison office.

Govrin defended himself by stating that the incident was really more of a disagreement between him and a security guard at the mission, and he called the accusations “manufactured.”
