Malta Commends Morocco’s Major Reforms under HM the king’s Leadership

Rabat – The Republic of Malta applauded the significant reforms carried out by Morocco in a variety of areas under the direction of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

In a joint statement, Nasser Bourita, the Moroccan minister of foreign affairs, African cooperation, and expatriates, and Ian Borg, the Maltese minister of foreign and European affairs and trade, expressed their gratitude for the discussions that took place on Monday in Rabat.

The Maltese FM emphasized that Morocco has become “a credible reference partner and a pole of stability in the region” as a result of these measures.

The Republic of Malta recognizes Morocco’s contribution to international harmony and peace through this declaration.

On this occasion, the two nations also reiterated their commitment to strengthening their economic and trade cooperation, especially in the area of renewable energy, and they urged people to take advantage of the opportunities presented by new value chains.

The two ministers acknowledged the positive ties that exist between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Malta and reaffirmed their shared ambition to further those ties.
