Palestinian Official: Morocco Has Always Been Supportive Of Us
It is not unusual for the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of al-Quds Committee, to support Palestinians.
Walid Nammour, Chief Executive Officer at al-Mutala’ ‘Hospital (also known as Augusta Victoria) in al-Quds, confirmed that Morocco has always embodied its political support for the steadfastness of Palestinians, with material support, whether in normal or emergency times.
Nammour said, in a statement published by MAP, “It is not unusual for the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of al-Quds Committee, to support Palestinians and support their steadfastness, for we have become accustomed to translating political support to the Kingdom on the ground, with material support, whether in normal times in scientific, cultural and health related fields, or in emergency situations.”
He added that Morocco has always been at the forefront of Arab and Islamic countries that provide support and assistance to the Palestinian people, stressing that the important quantities of urgent humanitarian aid sent by the Kingdom, upon instructions from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, are an affirmation of the historical relationship between Palestine and the Kingdom of Morocco.
Nammour also noted that this humanitarian initiative would support the steadfastness of Palestinians, in light of these difficult times that witness the escalation of Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people.
On this occasion, the Palestinian official expressed his thanks and deep gratitude to King Mohammed VI for his continuous support of Palestinians by helping them in solving the political, social and cultural problems which al-Quds suffers from.
