Royal Air Maroc Announces Opening of Direct Europe-Dakhla Air Line 

Royal Air Maroc announced launching its first air line that links Dakhla to Europe (Paris and Dakhla), Starting on 12 February 2021

On Wednesday, Royal Air Maroc announced launching its first air line that links Dakhla to Europe (Paris and Dakhla), Starting on 12 February 2021, in partnership with Moroccan National Tourist Office.

Royal Air Maroc said in a statement that it would make, for the first time in its history, a direct link between Dakhla and Europe (except Canary Islands) through a four and a half hour flight to Paris. RAM mentions that it is managing two flights a week for its clients (Tuesday and Friday). It will schedule flights from Paris at 9:45 a.m., arriving in Dakhla at 2:25 p.m. It also schedules flights from Dakhla at 3:25p.m., arriving in Paris at 7:45 p.m.

According to the same source, the Moroccan National Tourist Office chose to activate this line with the national company to contribute to this important tourist destination. “RAM, as a national company, is making sure to keep pace with the advancement of national tourism, especially during the crisis,” said Hamid Ado, general manager of Royal Air Maroc.

He added: “therefore, it was necessary to strengthen our mobilization with the Moroccan National Tourist Office to promote this strategic sector of our country. In addition, this new line will enable Dakhla’s visitors to benefit from the experience of traveling to Morocco from Boarding in Paris.”
