Morocco and India offer great opportunities in the field of investments between the two countries, on the sidelines of the presentation and promotion tour of the Morocco Now brand

On the sidelines of the presentation and promotion tour for the Morocco Now brand, launched by the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports and the Moroccan Embassy on Friday, November 26, 2021, from Bangalore, Indian investors and businessmen reported that Morocco and India offer great opportunities in the field of bilateral investments in all sectors. Karnataka is the capital of India’s state of Karnataka.

This tour, which will also stop in Mumbai and New Delhi, aims to demonstrate the Kingdom’s credentials and capabilities, improve the technology-based industry’s offering, and fulfill worldwide demand.

“We are delighted to welcome the Moroccan delegation,” stated KS Viswanathan, Vice President of the NASSCOM Industrial Association, in a news release. We looked into the potential for collaboration between Morocco and India in general, and Karnataka in particular. He went on to say that Morocco has made significant progress, particularly in the aviation and automobile industries, as well as in the service sector, stressing that Morocco’s attractive investment environment enable Indian companies to stabilize and grow.

Mahesh Shetty, the General Manager of Karnataka Agrochemicals Company, expressed his belief that bilateral collaboration with Morocco will undoubtedly yield great results, and indicated his wish to visit Morocco as soon as possible.

Dr. E. V Ramana Reddy, a Karnataka government official in charge of commerce and industry, noted that Bangalore is India’s information technology capital, while Morocco is positioned as a hub for the aerospace and automobile industries, providing tremendous prospects for collaborative ventures in this field.

Given the strengths that both countries possess, we also look forward to collaborating with Morocco in the pharmaceutical industry and informatics.

According to Anil Kumar, Vice President of Concentrix specializing in contractual operations, the meeting with the Moroccan team was significant and beneficial, allowing him to gain a deeper grasp of Morocco’s investment potential and opportunities. Concentrix has more than 270,000 users in 40 countries, according to him. We’re very looking forward to working with Moroccan actors.

Morocco’s delegation met with ministers, businesses, and important economic actors in the Indian state of Karnataka, led by Youssef El Bari, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports, and Mohammed Maliki, Morocco’s Ambassador to India.

The Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investments and Exports established the Morocco Now brand to promote Morocco’s status as a world-class industrial and export platform, with the goal of attracting international investment.

The Morocco Now brand also aims to strengthen Morocco’s position in international trade and investment, in order to capitalize on the opportunities presented by a changing world, where new demands on economic actors, such as environmental emergencies, consumer pressure, and new laws, compel them to adopt carbon-neutral products.
