The Atlas Lionesses play with Canada in preparation for the 2023 World Cup

The Atlas Lionesses are back after their outstanding performance at the African Cup of Nations! They will play a friendly match against the Canadian team in October 2022.
The Women’s Football World Cup is being co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, and the Atlas Lionesses are working hard to get ready. The women’s national team will compete in Spain and Canada to achieve this.
At least that is what the Canadian Football Federation’s official website tweets. The match will take place on October 10 at the Estadio Municipal de Chapn in Jerez, Spain’s province of Cadiz, according to the same source.

Canada will first face Argentina on Thursday 6 October and will later play Morocco on Monday 10 October 2022.

Specifically remember that the Atlas Lionesses’ historic showing at the Women’s African Cup of Nations, which was held in Morocco, earned them a spot in the 2023 World Cup. They competed in the final, which South Africa won.
