Heads of State congratulate H.M. the King on Morocco’s progress to the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup.

After the Moroccan football team advanced to the quarterfinals on Tuesday, heads of state called H.M. King Mohammed VI to congratulate him.

Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the State of Palestine, and Ali Bongo Ondimba, the president of the Republic of Gabon, each called H.M. the King on the phone.

Additionally, His Highness Jordan’s Prince El Hassan bin Talal called the sovereign.

Following this historic accomplishment, which makes Morocco the first Arab nation to reach this level in a World Cup, these Heads of State and H.H. the Prince extended their sincere congratulations to H.M. the King in these calls.
